I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor…

April 4th, 2015

There’s a line from Willard in Apocalypse now…
“I was going to the worst place in the world and I didn’t even know it yet. Weeks away and hundreds of miles up a river that snaked through the war like a main circuit cable – plugged straight into Kurtz.”
I have always liked that line.
Something I have been thinking about for a while are the trails we follow each day, our own main circuit cables…plugged into god knows what, where and whom.
So I thought about mapping them. Plotting them. Seeing what shapes they make, snaking through my own war…
Here’s the first one.
